About me

Since high school I was passionate about film and theater (making short films and plays). I continued this at the ACTT, Sydney, Australia, where I acted. To challenge myself more in other areas I studied Media & Culture at the UvA and graduated with a Masters in Film Studies - during that time I gained a lot of experience on Dutch film sets. My dream was to be accepted to a film school, and I worked towards that. I was accepted to the Vancouver Film School, Canada, in 2015 and graduated Cum Laude. Now I am looking for new fun projects and challenges, where I can develop myself further and creatively contribute to a strong format and or film/tv production.

Initially, I had an academic (analytical) education at the UvA and graduated in Film and Dramaturgy. My first jobs in film were at Pupkin (Feuten III), as a production assistant, and I also gained experience in the Netherlands at CTM (J.Kessels, assistant to the director at ore-production), NL Film, a few years at Spangas. I also gained set experience at a few commercials (e.g. for PriceWise). In Vancouver, I studied for a year at the Vancouver Film School and officially had to pitch my project there, won and eventually made my graduation film 'The Ether Inside' (nominated at a number of festivals; including Vimeo On Demand, VAFF (Vancouver Asian Film Festival) et al.).
